I was today years old when I learned there was a #NationalOregonDay, buy hey why not! It's home to Crater Lake National Park, Nike HQ, and the world's largest fungus species (not making that up!).
And as for #Portland its not just Seattle's weird Southern Cousin. This is DB Cooper country, where Voodoo Doughnuts was born, and where the tourism board promotes a recreational cannabis tour. Past the weird, you'll find the wonderful - like the worlds longest running international test rose garden, trying new hybrids of flowers from all over the world and a redwood forest in the center of town.
